Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. For more information on this neat blog hop, to see other bloggers’ Feature and Follow posts for this question, and to sign up check out both of those blogs at the links I’ve provided. It’s a great way to discover new bloggers, learn a thing or two about everyone who participates, and gain followers for your own blog.
The question this week is:
If you could only have ONE – one book – for the rest of your life. Don’t cheat…what would it be?.
I’ve gone through two phases where I didn’t read a whole lot for fun. You’ve heard about my grad school lull and how that was truly reawakened by reading The Hunger Games. The other reading lull in my life was during undergrad. I’m sure I read more, but all I can recall reading is The Dark is Rising Sequence by Susan Cooper.
Then I graduated and picked up a book that had been sitting on my TBR: Here, There Be Dragons by James A. Owen. Love. I fell in love with reading all over again and it made me fall especially hard for the classics that I hadn’t read since childhood. Any book that can make me do that is definitely a book that I would have as my one book for the rest of my life.
So what book would you have for the rest of your life if you could only have one?
