I am super excited to be one of Utopia’s Official Bloggers for its 2016 conference. I felt ever so blessed to be an official blogger in 2015, and am honored to be one again for Utopia’s 5th Conference. I am working with some fabulous bloggers and even a vlogger! This year’s team includes:
Jo Michaels | The Paisley Reader (that’s me!) | Book Junkie: Not-So-Anonymous | A Book Vacation | A Little Bit of R&R | Delphina Reads Too Much | My Book Addiction | Tsk, Tsk, What to Read | Lulo Fangirl
This year, we will be bringing you all the details of the conference, and if you haven’t been already, we hope to convince you to go! This year general admission to the conference includes your ticket to the conference from Wed, June 22 – Sun, June 26 (Your registrations also gets you a welcome bag and access to the keynote speeches, panels, exhibitor hall, karaoke, pre-awards happy hour, the Fifth Annual Utopia Awards, post-awards dance party and signing events. It does NOT include any workshops, apparel, or lunches.)
Fight for your write by grabbing your ticket to Utopia2016 here.
Another cool thing that the Utopia Bloggers are bringing you this year are a bunch of features about Revelations, Resolutions, and Revolutions. Jo’s going to tell you about Revelations and Revolutions. Today, I wanted to share a little about Resolutions.
You may have seen this banner going around Facebook or here on my blog or over on Ashley Bodette’s blog.
Featuring Resolutions began last year, shortly after utopYA2014 when Teal Haviland mentioned how her resolutions aren’t for January 1st to December 31st, they’re for the time between utopYA conferences. Ashley and I thought that sharing these resolutions would be a great blog feature, so we banded together to create just that. Each week, she and I take turns showcasing a Utopian and his/her resolutions and how Utopia has helped them or will help them achieve those goals. This year we’ve also added a podcast of Utopia Resolutions where Ashley and I will talk to readers and authors about their goals for this coming year. The first one goes live on August 14th, so stay tuned.
